Alex and Iris Davies are sisters on a mission to impact the lives of people, one song at a time!
Upon learning about the issue of human trafficking at the age of eleven, Alex became determined to do something about the growing epidemic. Using her passion for music and the arts as her mission field, she began to raise awareness through her original compositions and inspirational lyrics. As four year old Iris discovered her voice, the two teamed up and set off to use music as a vessel for change.
Nine years later, Alex and Iris show no signs of slowing down! What began with two little girls in their bedroom with a keyboard has turned to numerous project releases and opportunities to share their message on notable platforms across the country- from New York to LA to Nashville to Orlando.
While they perform together as much as possible, recently Alex and Iris have each found their niche separately as well. In the past few years, Iris has ventured into acting, and she spent eleven months of 2016-2017 traveling with the Broadway national tour of The Sound of Music playing the role of Brigitta Von Trapp, as well as playing Annie in Annie Warbucks at the Signature Theatre in NYC.
In the meantime, Alex's story has been featured by numerous outlets such as Fox's The Real Winning Edge series and the popular teen-girl blog, Project Inspired. Alex's original music has been performed at various events and conventions on both coasts, recognized by many prominant voices in the industry for its authenticity and impact. She is currently developing new original material with legendary engineer and producer Bill Scheniman.
In all of their success. Alex and Iris continue to use profits from their endeavors to support worthy causes, including Love146, the PTSD Foundation of America, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
"Our goal is to inspire other young people to use the gifts that they've been given to do things that are bigger than themselves."
